The boys
are back.

You were an athlete. You've just been off-season a while. Fat Guys is a brotherhood for men who competed once and have no intention of letting that be the best of it — physical rigour, mental clarity, and the kind of accountability that only lands coming from men in the same position.

The Idea

Not a
weight-loss
program.

Most fitness marketing aimed at men our age runs on shame. Before-and-afters, countdowns, a tone that suggests you've let everyone down. It works for about five weeks, and then it doesn't.

This is built the other way round. You already know how to train — you did it for years. What went missing wasn't discipline, it was a team, a season, and a group of people who noticed when you didn't show up.

So that's what this is: the room, rebuilt. Driven men recalibrating their health together through real work and honest accountability. The aim is a long, capable, durable life, not a number on a scale by March.

01

Physical rigour

Programmed training that respects forty-plus joints and forty-plus schedules, and still asks something real of you.

02

Mental clarity

Sleep, load, stress, alcohol, and the honest arithmetic between them. The parts that decide whether the training sticks.

03

Accountability

Men who hold each other to a standard, and notice out loud when someone goes quiet. That is the entire mechanism.

The work
A hand with athletic tape wrapped around three fingers
Still taping up
A forearm holding a cast-iron kettlebell overhead
Still lifting heavy
Hands gripping a leather medicine ball caught mid-motion
Still competitive
How It Works

Show up. Log it.
Get seen.

Daily

Win of the day

One check-in. Training, a walk, a decent night's sleep, a meal you actually planned. It counts and it's visible.

Weekly

A challenge with a scoreboard

Steps, sleep, sessions completed. Light-hearted on the surface, competitive underneath — which is the point, given who's in the room.

Programming

Three sessions a week

One conditioning, one heavy lift, one recovery. Written coaching cues, scaled to what your body will currently tolerate.

The room

Questions

The obvious ones.

Do I need to be in shape to join?

No. Nearly everyone arrives further from their old form than they'd like, which is precisely the shared starting point. Training is scaled to what your body currently tolerates, not to what it managed at twenty-two.

Is this a diet?

No. There's no meal plan to fail at and nothing is forbidden. The nutrition side runs as weekly challenges and honest conversation about the things that genuinely move the needle — protein, sleep, and how much you're drinking.

How much time does it take?

Three sessions a week if you're on the coaching tier, plus about a minute a day to check in. It's built around men with jobs and families, not around men with unlimited time.

I'm carrying an old injury. Is that a problem?

It's the norm. Between them the founders have three decades of programming around surgeries, bad backs and joints that have already given their best years. Tell us when you email.

How do I actually sign up?

You email us. There's no checkout on this page on purpose — the founders' round is a conversation first, so Daryl replies personally, works out which tier fits, and sorts payment from there.
